Santa Barbara County joins the Escape family!
I’m happy to announce that we've added another County Education Office to the Escape family, bringing our total to 17! Santa Barbara County Education Office is the latest addition and boy are things moving quickly!
Our contract was signed in the beginning of year and we’ve already completed preliminary project planning and have started training the Core team at the CEO. Carole Williams will be the Escape Project Manager and Denice Cora, Administrator for School Business Advisory Services, will be acting as the customer Project Manager. You can see Carole and Denice working hard along with the rest of the SBCEO Core Team below.
There are over 20 districts, including one community college, involved in the project. The majority of the districts will be going live in July 2015. And we may be fortunate enough to have a few districts go live on a few modules prior to that!
Starting new implementations is always exciting but when you have a customer as enthusiastic as this, it makes it even better.
“After doing research on new systems for several years, we are excited to be starting the implementation of Escape Online 5. The County Education Office and districts are looking forward to all the new functionality the system offers,” said Denice from the County Education Office.
“This will be a great step forward for our county,” said Scott Cory, Superintendent, Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District
Please help me in welcoming SBCEO and their partner districts in joining the family!
