Monitoring Employees for the Healthy Families Act
The Healthy Families Act (known as AB1522 and AB304) is a hot topic of conversation. This act requires employers to provide paid sick leave to qualifying employees who work in California for 30 or more days within a year for the same employer and sick leave is accrued at a rate of no less than one hour for every 30 hours worked.

Once you’ve completed the setup of the HFA Leave Group and have assigned to all applicable employees, you need to be able to search for these employees. With Escape Online, it is very simple to get a list of employees.
From Employee Management Search Criteria under ‘Section 11 – Leave,’ enter ‘HFA’ in the Leave Group, ‘CTRL+G’ to get the list.
Once your list of employees is displayed, use the Show Tabs Task to show only the Leaves tab. This is super helpful because Escape Online keeps all of the employee information together: there can be more than 14 tabs, with everything from Seniority to Credentials to Notes.
Here's a timely tip, if you are only reviewing, pick the Leave tab, but if you are planning on editing leaves, pick both the Employee and Leave tabs.
Now you can easily navigate to the next employee and review employee’s Leave information.
