How to Comment on a Blog

We want your feedback! So, we write blogs that we hope you will comment upon. While you can always send an email, commenting on the blog allows others to see your ideas, expand on them or add their own take.

Our blog allows you to comment in several different ways, giving you the ability to share on Facebook or Twitter or not. When you click the comment at the bottom of a blog, you are presented with dialog. As you can see, you can post through Twitter and Facebook. Or, you can choose to enter a comment without a login.

You can associate your comment with social media platforms. From left to right, "no platform," SquareSpace, Google+, Twitter, and Facebook.

The most common comment is the "no platform." This is where you click on the Person icon and enter your name and email (optional), then you click the login button. Obviously, you don't "login" but what this does is send your comment for approval.

As you can imagine with Escape's open attitude toward feedback, we decided to have an approval process. (There are people on the internet that have nothing to do with Escape or School Business that like to "comment" on blogs, promoting their own interests or business.)

Escape has an approval process for comments to reduce spamming.

So, while your comment goes through the approval process, you will be the only one to see it and it will be grayed out.

See how Celeste's comment is gray. This shows that it is hidden from other users, because it is still in the approval process, .

Now that you are ready to give us your thoughts, you may be asking yourself, "What blogs have requested feedback?"

To help you, we created a Feedback tag, which you can see at the bottom of this email. If you click on that tag, you will get a list of the blogs where we have requested feedback. This blog will be included, too, in case you want a refresher.
