Alameda Unified Joins the Escape family

We’re happy to announce that the Alameda Unified School District is joining the Escape Technology family. Not only is this great news for Escape Technology, it’s also great news for the Alameda County Office of Education as Alameda USD will be hosted on the Alameda COE Escape system. That’s what we call a WIN-WIN!

We are both honored and excited to have been chosen as the vendor of choice for Alameda USD and look forward to our partnership with the district and Alameda COE over the course of the implementation.

My favorite thing about working at Escape is the teamwork and camaraderie.  Everyone is quick to offer assistance to others irrespective of titles, teams, or roles.

My favorite thing about working at Escape is the friends and family that I have at work.  I never wake up in the morning and dread going to work.  It is always a positive and enriching environment for me.

The software is so feature rich and our customers are so engaging, there has rarely been a moment in almost two decades where I was not honored with the opportunity to write an uplifting blog or explain a feature in positive, confident prose. Work is a joy.

I started with Escape because of the people – people I could trust. Those few people grew in number, some came and went, but collectively never lost that attribute – trust. It’s the people.
~ Ken Custard
Customer relationships, constant learning and growth, challenging puzzles that take lots of brainpower to solve, teammates who help you find the missing pieces, satisfaction that comes from solving the puzzle, and people who are there to celebrate with you.
~ Elen Meltonyan
I love my co-workers. Our team is a work family. Everyone jumps in when there is a crisis and helps... Plus, having the ability to shoot someone in the office with a nerf gun occasionally is fun and relieves some stress.
~ Jennifer Kenney

Things I love about working at Escape? Smart, friendly hardworking people, Nerf gun fights and my increased bank balance twice a month. Lol.

My most favorite things about working at Escape are the flexibility and the family working atmosphere.

I really enjoy working alongside and with our dedicated and passionate Escape employees. I am so proud to be a part of this company, and all of the accomplishments that we have all contributed to in making our state schools run more efficiently. My thanks goes out to everyone for their commitment to our customers and each other.
~ Chad Guest
The best part of working at Escape is without a doubt the people that I work with. Everyone is always ready to help and encourage one another.
~Tanya Karalets
The town motto where I live is, “A small town is like a big family.” If you substitute “company” for “town,” you have what I like best about Escape. It’s like a big family (the family members you really like), that includes both co-workers and customers.
~Jennifer Stahr
People, people, people! I love working with the team at Escape. Over the past year I enjoyed getting to know everyone and what a great team it is! My first year was also rewarded by a fantastic business performance led by Ramona’s leadership. I am fortunate to have a chance to work with such a wonderful team and looking forward to another great year!
