Escape Online, Release 19.03 Is Now Available
We are happy to announce that Escape Online, Release 19.03 is now available. This release includes some great changes for multi-year budgeting!
Multi-year Budgeting Enhancements
As you work on your budget, one of the most common tasks (aside from changing amounts) is recalculating. We have made some great changes to our calculation processes. First, we moved the task for recalculating multi-year projections to the Perform Change dialog. This gives you the freedom to perform the task on your schedule AND apply it to only some accounts. Amazing!
We also enhanced the earning and contributions calculations for vacant positions, more closely matching payroll calculations. We also optimized the calculations and introduced history records for auditing.
ACH PIN Option for AP Payments
Now, you can add a PIN requirement for opening AP ACH emails. You can define separate requirements for vendors versus employees. With vendors, you have several options for selecting the PIN and new keywords for including the instructions in your email. With employees, the PIN option will follow the same logic as pay checks, simplifying the opening of ACHs for employees who receive payments from both payroll and AP.
Now, you can create semiannual recurring invoices and you can specify the number of recurring invoices you want to create. The Recurs field now includes Semiannual in the options, along with Bimonthly, Monthly, and Quarterly. The new Number of Recurring Invoices field gives you the ability to specify the number of invoices you want to create. So, if you want to create recurring monthly invoices until February, you can specify the number of months to accomplish this. The Number of Recurring Invoices field is smart, too. It calculates and defaults the maximum number of invoices based on the Recurs field.
