Stand Up for Pups

As you know, we like to give back to our community and, as a company, we host a minimum of one community service project every quarter. Since many Escapees are animal lovers, we decided to do something a little different for this quarter's community service project, looking for an opportunity to help out our four-legged friends.

We eventually selected a project to collect much-needed items for our local SPCA, located in Placer County. We called this effort “Stand Up For Pups” and collected everything from food, pet beds and blankets to kiddie pools. We chose the local SPCA since several of our employees adopted their pets from the Placer SPCA, including Leslie Bailey, our amazing Technical Writer, who adopted her dog Idgy a few years ago.

Like all of our community service projects, Stand Up For Pups brought different team members together to work on a common project, outside of work, which is always rewarding. I loved coming into the office to see all the different items donated by the team and appreciated their creativity and thoughtfulness.
