Last week’s blog on the Human Resource Essentials workshop talked about not only how important mandatory trainings are for all staff in the educational field, but how numerous those trainings are becoming. This week’s blog will take a deeper dive into some of the features that make Escape Online the perfect place to keep track of all employee trainings.
If a specific training does not exist, it can be created in Escape Online by navigating to HR/Payroll – Setup – Employment – Education Training.
Once created, the training can be added to the Education tab in Employee Management:
Escape Online also has a new Education report (Employee23) that can be used to see which employees have taken which trainings, as well as to determine when those trainings may expire. This report applies to mandated and all of the other types of education records that may be in the system.
Lastly, a new field called Sexual Harassment Prevention Completion Date has recently been added to the Employment Tab (in the Employment Requirements section) in the 19.03 release. Having this field, which will also be included on the Search Tab, Grid view, and Employee Details export, will ensure accordance with SB 1343 (Employers: sexual harassment training: requirements).
At a time when mandatory training has become of such importance, the last thing anyone wants is to be found out of compliance because an employee failed to complete a training. Escape Online is a one-stop shop to track any training, thereby helping to ensure that both employees and employers are always informed of new policies and legal requirements.
