Tracking Expenses in Escape Online Indicators

In Escape Online version 18.04 release, we introduced a new feature to assist you in tracking your expenses. The feature gives customers a lot of flexibility to label and determine unique indicators that may be associated with requisitions, employee assignments and addon pay. So, a new Escape Online activity was created called Indicators.

I recently joined a team meeting at SCUSD (Sacramento City USD) to brainstorm how to best implement this new feature. It was a very productive session. I’d like to say thank you to Sacramento City USD for providing input regarding the design of this new feature, and I’d like to invite all of our customers to share their feedback on how your district is planning to use this new feature.

Sacramento City Unified commenced implementation of Escape indicators shortly after launch of the feature in January. At SCUSD, the Business Services, HR and Technology teams are working to initially roll out LCAP indicators on the expense and personnel sides to track and monitor the alignment of the allocation of the district's resources to the goals in the plan. This will help share information with community stakeholders and allow SCUSD to measure return on investments being made across schools and business units.  In the future, additional internal indicators will be added to match SCUSD's key performance measures for student performance and operations.
