When will the course take place? Where is it located?
We have courses across the state at various locations and times. Please see the Registration page for a full list of times and places.
Can I change dates/locations after I have already registered?
As long as a date/location is still open for registration, you can change to a different location. There is no registration cost associated with the change.
When does registration close?
Each course has its own registration close date, one week prior to the course begin date.
I only want to attend one day, is that possible?
It is not possible to attend only one day. This is a two-day course and both days must be attended to be eligible to take the test for certification.
What is included in my registration fee?
The registration fee includes the course, a Certification Course Workbook, the online test, certificate (if test is passed) meals and breaks.
Is there a wait list?
We have so many locations and opportunities to attend these courses that we cannot maintain a waiting list.
What time does the course start/end?
Both days begin at 9am and end at 5pm.
What should I wear?
Be prepared to study and learn! Wear comfortable clothes (business casual) and bring a sweater as some training rooms run a little cold.
Will this be hands-on?
Yes, the certification course will be a mixture of study, exercises in Escape Online and discussions concerning best practices.
Do I have to prepare for the course?
The prerequisite for the course is proficiency in Escape Online and a basic understanding of the topic and related records. You do not have to bring any materials, but we hope that all students will be willing and ready to share their processes and procedures with the group.
Should I bring a laptop?
You do not need to bring a computer. One will be provided for you.
Will you provide food?
We provide lunch and light snacks in the morning and afternoon. If you need gluten-free or vegan options, please indicate that requirement on your registration form.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
If you pass the test, you will receive a certificate. We will also email a “badge” to you that you can place in your email signature and on your LinkedIn page. Since our customers use so many different email programs, here are two links that might help you with the placement of the badge in your email signature for Outlook and Gmail.
Are there any discounts?
We do not provide discounts for certification.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Registration payments made via credit card will be refunded to the original credit card. Otherwise, a refund check will be issued.
Where do I send the purchase order?
Please email POs to email@example.com.
When will I be invoiced?
If you are NOT paying with credit card, that is OFFLINE Payment. Invoices will be sent out on the second day of class. Payment is due at that time.
Who is the payee for the payment?
Escape Technology is the payee.
